Our wonderful volunteers are what make events at the hall possible

The Icklesham Trust is a charity responsible for the Icklesham Village Hall and the Pavilion, both on the village recreation ground.
The Trust is currently run by a committee of 15, comprised of 4 officers, 8 representatives of affiliated clubs and 3 village representatives.

All roles are important and they offer a great deal of satisfaction, both in providing support to the village and the pleasure of working with a superb group of committee members and volunteers.

How can you help?

Volunteers Needed

We have a wonderful group of friendly volunteers who give up their time to help the community of Icklesham and the Icklesham Trust. Without them events at the hall would not be possible. The Trust is always looking for volunteers to help in various rolls, such as;

-Baking or helping with tea & coffee

-Helping out at Tuesday Club

-Setting up or clearing up at events

-Setting up stalls for the annual Icklesham Fete

-Bar staff

-Promotion

Icklesham Trust Treasurer

The committee is looking to appoint a new Treasurer, as our current treasurer, after many years in the role, is stepping down. She is very happy to provide support to her replacement as they ease in. If you have a few hours spare to contribute to the Icklesham community and are reasonably numerate and organised, the Icklesham Trust Treasurer role could be the one for you!

If you'd like more details or a chat about the role, please contact Tony Thorne,
Chair of the Icklesham Trust Committee, on 07949 638888 or e-mail
tonythorne01@gmail.com.
